Chicago, my crazy, fantastic family, and my closest friends bring a lot of energy into my life. This energy is translated through my paintings. I willfully collect family artifacts and photographs to uncover the lives of my ancestors. I love to remember and listen to lived experiences and then document them with paint. I embrace challenges and would like to bring new direction and focus to my creations. I intend to explore a variety of art mediums to broaden my skill set. I have always been passionate about learning; seeking knowledge is so satisfying when one is willing and able to question everything and be curious. I would like to expand on all my creative thoughts (play, fail, rethink, and resolve) because making art gives me a generous amount of fulfillment. I have an overwhelming desire to learn and know all the tools a craftsman should and I hope to make a living doing what I love.
